FindParkPay Launches BUZZPAY with Cornwall Council

FindParkPay, a Cornish-owned business founded at Falmouth University’s Launchpad, is proud to announce the launch of its innovative online car park payment platform, BUZZPAY, across seven car parks in Falmouth. This significant rollout has been made possible through the unwavering support of Cornwall Council, which is committed to fostering local talent and innovation.

BUZZPAY distinguishes itself in the market by offering a no-download, no-account-required system that allows users to pay for parking in just four simple steps. This user-centric solution is designed to be accessible to everyone, providing a quick and hassle-free way to manage parking payments.

FindParkPay's journey began at Falmouth University, part of the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) funded Launchpad Program, where the idea for BUZZPAY was first developed. The program provided the time and resources necessary for thorough research and development, ultimately leading to the creation of a market-ready product and spinout company.

With BUZZPAY now available in Falmouth, FindParkPay aims to offer Cornwall Council car park users more payment options without the need to download an app or sign up for an account. The success of this rollout will be measured by the increase in user adoption, further validating BUZZPAY’s effectiveness and appeal.

Looking ahead, FindParkPay is planning to expand BUZZPAY to more towns across Cornwall and eventually throughout the UK. The company is dedicated to continuously enhancing the platform, operating with agility to ensure that clients receive a solution tailored to their needs.
