BuzzPay is operated by FindParkPay Ltd ("we", "us" or "our"), a company registered in England and Wales under company number 13357501. Our website is www.buzzpay.co.uk and our parking payment service is available at m.buzzpay.co.uk.

Our registered office is the address recorded for FindParkPay Ltd at Companies House. You can contact us using the details shown on our website.

About the Service

These Terms apply to the use of BuzzPay and, where applicable, other parking and mooring payment services operated by FindParkPay Ltd. By using the service, you agree to these Terms.

BuzzPay provides a means of paying for parking at participating locations. We provide the payment service; the parking itself is supplied by the relevant car park owner or operator (the "Operator"). You must also comply with the parking conditions displayed at the location. The service is not available at every location.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Changes will be published on our website and apply to future use of the service. Changes will not retrospectively alter a transaction already completed.

How to Use the Service

To pay for parking, visit the payment website using the address or location code shown at the car park. Check that you have selected the correct location and enter your vehicle registration number and the parking tariff or duration you wish to purchase.

You will be asked to provide an email address for your payment receipt and any applicable email parking reminders. Please check that the details you enter are correct.

You may also choose to purchase an optional SMS parking reminder by providing a mobile telephone number. The additional charge will be displayed before you complete payment. SMS reminders are not required to purchase parking.

Follow the on-screen instructions to complete payment. Your parking purchase is confirmed only when the service displays a successful transaction and the expiry time of your parking session. If payment is unsuccessful, you must use another available payment method to ensure that you have paid for parking.

SMS Parking Reminders

BuzzPay offers an optional SMS parking expiry reminder for an additional charge. Where you purchase this service, we aim to send a text message approximately 15 minutes before the scheduled expiry of your parking session. The message may include your vehicle registration, parking location, expiry time and a link to extend your parking where an extension is available.

The SMS reminder fee is shown before payment and is charged only if you choose the service. You are responsible for providing a correct mobile telephone number.

SMS reminders depend on mobile network coverage, signal availability, handset settings and third-party networks. Messages may be delayed or may not arrive. We cannot guarantee receipt or delivery at a particular time.

An SMS reminder does not automatically extend your parking or change the Operator's parking conditions. You remain responsible for checking when your parking expires and, where necessary, purchasing more time before expiry. An extension may not be available at every location or for every parking session.

If we fail to provide the paid SMS reminder service with reasonable care and skill, you may be entitled to an appropriate remedy under applicable consumer law. Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights.

Payment and Charges

By completing a payment, you authorise us and our payment service providers to process the amount displayed at checkout for the selected parking session and any optional services you have chosen.

Parking tariffs are set by the relevant Operator. Depending on the location, a service or convenience fee may also apply. Any applicable fees, including an optional SMS reminder charge, will be identified before you confirm payment, and the total payable will be displayed.

Your bank or card statement may identify the payment as BuzzPay, FindParkPay Ltd or another applicable service name.

If your payment is declined, your parking has not been purchased. You must make a successful payment using another available method. It is your responsibility to check the applicable parking rules and to ensure that your payment and parking session are confirmed.

Availability of the Service

We aim to make the service available at participating locations, but access may occasionally be interrupted by maintenance, connectivity problems or technical faults. If the service is unavailable, you must use another payment method where one is provided or otherwise comply with the Operator's parking conditions.

We will take reasonable steps to address faults within our control. Nothing in this section excludes any liability or consumer rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

Security and Acceptable Use

We take reasonable technical and organisational measures to protect information processed through our services. Payment card processing is handled through payment service providers and relevant security arrangements.

You must not attempt to gain unauthorised access to our websites or systems, interfere with their operation, introduce malicious code or misuse the service. You must provide accurate information when making a parking payment.

Parking confirmation and extension links may provide access to details of your parking session. Keep these links private and do not share them with anyone who should not have access to your session.

Refunds, Enquiries and Disputes

If you have a question about a payment, believe you have been charged incorrectly or wish to request a refund, please contact us through our refund and dispute enquiry form. We may need to liaise with the relevant Operator to investigate.

Please contact us as soon as reasonably possible so that we can investigate the issue. This does not limit any statutory rights or applicable legal time limits.

Questions about parking conditions, enforcement notices or penalties may need to be addressed directly to the relevant Operator or enforcement authority, using the contact details on the notice or at the parking location.

Intellectual Property

The text, software, designs, graphics and other materials made available through our services are owned by or licensed to FindParkPay Ltd or the relevant rights holders and are protected by applicable intellectual property laws.

You may use our websites and services for their intended personal or business parking-payment purposes. You must not reproduce, distribute or commercially exploit our materials without permission, except where permitted by law.

Liability

We are responsible for providing our payment and optional reminder services with reasonable care and skill. The relevant Operator is responsible for providing parking facilities and setting the conditions that apply at the parking location.

We are not responsible for parking charges or enforcement action arising solely because you failed to comply with the Operator's parking conditions. However, nothing in these Terms excludes or restricts liability where doing so would be unlawful, including liability for fraud, death or personal injury caused by negligence, or your statutory consumer rights.

Where permitted by law, we are not responsible for losses that were not reasonably foreseeable when you used the service or for business losses arising from a service purchased wholly for personal use.

General

If any provision of these Terms is found to be invalid or unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue to apply.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. If you are a consumer resident elsewhere in the United Kingdom, you retain any mandatory legal protections and rights to bring proceedings in the courts that apply to you.
